The Oz books form a book series that begins with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1900) and relates the fictional history of the Land of Oz. Oz was created by author L. You mean a 308 are you nuts? Besides both of them are locked up. That will kill a deer at 800 yards if your a sniper. It was 3 feet and the mice are tough, actually it might be a Vole, which is like a mouse. One wiggled out of a trap once I felt bad and put in a travel cage my sister( rip) had because she had hamsters. Anyways I found bedding made food and found a water dish and I walked away for 5 minutes and it was in the water dish drowned, when I came back with a paper towel tube for it.

There is a difference between removing the picture of a person from a pancake box because it offends a race of people and People Being Offended By Racial Humor.

How Can We All Be Gray?

I've got a question. Is nigger a racial slur or a pronoun? If it is a pronoun how come everybody can't say "hey my nigger"? I mean you never hear anybody say "hey my honky" and there is a reason for it. "Hey my honky" just does not sound cool. It sounds a lot cooler to say "hey my nigger".

I tried it with other nationalities. " hey my dot head" sounds even lamer than "hey my honky". "hey my chink" sounds like I hurt my back. "hey my Spic" has a chance everybody can always reply with "hey my span". "hey my Kraut" makes me want to eat a hot dog. "hey my cracker" makes me think of Saltines. "hey my Mick", sounds like something I would do to someone who is choking. hey my wop sounds like I want to hit somebody. "hey my ruesky" works if I say it to a woman, I would never say that to a man, unless I was gay. hey my nip makes me want to take a sip of Brandy. hey my kyke for some reason makes me think of Ben Franklin. Yeah, "Hey my nigger" is the coolest.

Lenny Bruce was a Poster Boy for Freedom of Speech.

Lenny Bruce was arrested for just simply TALKING.

Based on the information the NYC investigators collected at the shows, the District Attorney's Office was able to convince a grand jury to indict Bruce for violating the New York obscenity law. Specifically, it charged Bruce with violating New York Penal Code 1140, which barred "obscene, indecent, immoral, and impure dram, play, exhibition, and entertainment . . . which would tend to the corruption of the morals of youth and others."



Beginning in the 1960s, authorities in many of the cities Bruce regularly performed in declared his act obscene. A string of arrests followed. In 1961, he was arrested in San Francisco and charged with violating the California obscenity law (a charge of which he was later acquitted). In 1962, he was arrested twice in Los Angeles and once in Chicago for violating California and Illinois obscenity laws (he beat the LA charges but was convicted in Chicago). In 1963, he was ordered to leave England after British authorities got wind of his performance at a London club. In 1964, California authorities arrested him for a third time for allegedly violating the California obscenity law.

Tired of being harassed by the state of California, Bruce took his act to New York City. In March 1964, he booked a run of shows at a Greenwich Village club named the Café Au Go Go. Unfortunately for Bruce, New York City authorities were poised to treat him as unfairly as their West Coast counterparts had. On the nights of March 31 and April 1, the New York City District Attorney's Office sent undercover investigators to two of Bruce's Café Au Go Go performances. Over the course of those two shows, Bruce put on a number of his standards, including: "To Come as a Preposition," "Infidelity," "Red Hot Enema," and "Guys Are Carnal." He also threw in some new material regarding the fit and form of various former first ladies (most notably, Eleanor Roosevelt).



Despite Bruce's efforts, the court found his performances "obscene, indecent, immoral and impure within the meaning of the [New York] penal code" and sentenced him to "four months in the workhouse." In its final opinion, the court concluded that Bruce's act "appealed to prurient interest," was "patently offensive to the average person in the community," and lacked "redeeming social importance." Bruce would go on to appeal the conviction, but died of a morphine overdose before his case reached an appellate court.

Alastair or whatever lectured me on here about using the term mick. I was referring to my self and Most of what I can trace of my heritage. I have Irish ancestors. You can slur your own kind ask every black comedian. Take that away most have little to nothing.

When I was living in my Missouri, some asshole called my friend from New York a Hoosier ( some people used that to mean redneck or white trash even though it literally means someone from Indiana)
My friend yelled in his loudest Bronx accent " Hey motherfucker, I'm a New York fucking Jew!" That shut the dude up.

The word "peckerwood" originated as an African American slang term for "woodpecker" in the 1800s, but by the early 1900s began to be applied as a racial epithet against White people, with a meaning similar to the term "white trash." In the second half of the 20th century, in prison environments in Texas, California, and possibly elsewhere, the word peckerwood, originally used to refer to White prisoners generally, began to develop a more specific association with members of racist prison gangs and cliques, as well as their associates and hangers-on. This association is strongest in California and Texas, and fairly strong across the West and South in general, but less common in the Midwest and Northeast. In California, the term spread from the prison to the streets in the form of so-called peckerwood gangs, white gangs that mix elements of street gang, prison gang, and racist skinhead gang. Their white supremacy is more often crude than sophisticated and they have a high association with traditional criminal activity, such as drugs. They tend to organize geographically, such as San Fernando Valley Peckerwoods, Inland Empire Peckerwoods, High Desert Peckerwoods, etc.

Symbolically, the term peckerwood is often represented by various woodpecker images, sometimes in conjunction with other hate symbols. It is also common for white supremacists to use the word itself for a tattoo, or its common shortened version, "Wood," as in "100% Wood." Collectively, peckerwoods in a particular prison or geographic range are often called the "Woodpile." Female peckerwoods are referred to as "featherwoods."

The most common featherwood symbol is simply the word "featherwood" itself, often used in conjunction with a feather. Sometimes a feather by itself is also used as a symbol.

where I'm from, peckerwood mostly meant "gang member" more than anything else, although in reality it just meant a white dude who was involved in the outlaw life

Everyday, before school would start, we would say the Pledge of Allegiance and sing God Bless America.







The Pledge of Allegiance was written in August 1892 by the socialist minister Francis Bellamy (1855-1931). It was originally published in The Youth's Companion on September 8, 1892. Bellamy had hoped that the pledge would be used by citizens in any country.

In its original form it read:

"I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
In 1923, the words, "the Flag of the United States of America" were added. At this time it read:

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
In 1954, in response to the Communist threat of the times, President Eisenhower encouraged Congress to add the words "under God," creating the 31-word pledge we say today. Bellamy's daughter objected to this alteration. Today it reads:

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
Section 4 of the Flag Code states:

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.", should be rendered by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. When not in uniform men should remove any non-religious headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. Persons in uniform should remain silent, face the flag, and render the military salute."
The original Bellamy salute, first described in 1892 by Francis Bellamy, who authored the original Pledge, began with a military salute, and after reciting the words "to the flag," the arm was extended toward the flag.

At a signal from the Principal the pupils, in ordered ranks, hands to the side, face the Flag. Another signal is given; every pupil gives the flag the military salute — right hand lifted, palm downward, to a line with the forehead and close to it. Standing thus, all repeat together, slowly, "I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands; one Nation indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all." At the words, "to my Flag," the right hand is extended gracefully, palm upward, toward the Flag, and remains in this gesture till the end of the affirmation; whereupon all hands immediately drop to the side.

Shortly thereafter, the pledge was begun with the right hand over the heart, and after reciting "to the Flag," the arm was extended toward the Flag, palm-down.

In World War II, the salute too much resembled the Nazi salute, so it was changed to keep the right hand over the heart throughout.

There is a muscle relaxer called that. It used to be prescription but not scheduled, now schedule 3. I have had it and it is good.( carpisoprodol). Ye hee good stuff.

But also the mystery drug in ancient times banned because it summoned a demon when the pagan priests consumed it. Lost to time.

Erased from history although I hear Bluelight is planning a search for it and technically it might be legal. But summoning a demon; count me out.

Bluelight could plan an Indiana Jones type search; if any of the people going could make it through customs.🤣🤣

Maybe they are trying to use weed to do that? One problem is many people get bored with it and many get older and can't smoke it. There was a thread about that.

I remember hearing about a real drug called Soma. Could not believe they actually did that.

Maybe the summoned demon is the one that is in all of us. Or a warning, use to much and you will act like a demon. Or you might need an Exorcist to come along.

Then she would release them outside despit my protests that since we were the only house for 5 miles each direction, the mice will surely come straight back in. So i would have to kill em maself on the down low. They are a massive pain in the arse in winter.

One destroyed my nice stainless steel oven by crawling in the display and chewing on the wires. I have seen them sneak in there and my oven and broiler won't work.

No tator tots for me. I shoot them with a pellet gun when they are in the trap.
Michigan mice are tough they wiggle out with broken backs and necks. I use pointed pellets. They can take a direct hit from not pointed pellets from a CO2
Powered .177 pellet revolver 400 fps. With non pointed pellets.

Little bastards, it is war. Decided to only use bb and pellet guns. Real guns, even a 22Lr is too much.

haha i an imagine sneaking round the gaff with a .22Lr i like your style mate. I just drown em cause they seem to panic and aspirate water within a few seconds, a quick and relatively painless death. I know what you mean, i got sick of seeing a fucking mangled mouse with a fucked up back dragging its way through the kitchen in pain. And my GF thinks me killing the mice is inhumane.

Thanks, bro that is a good idea. They ate poison bait in these weird plastic traps. So they will eat them.

True story my when my dad was alive, and in bad shape he kept bitching about pills missing. He would put them on his desk where he watched TV and was pissed about his Oxycodones and Ativans would disappear. He laid them on the desk next to his recliner.

I told him I have my own and I don't steal, he goes, " I know, I closed the door and didn't leave and you weren't even here."

One day My dad says open your hand and I did. It was a 2mg Ativan ( lorazepam). I said thanks; he said " No, look at it", and there were little teeth marks on it.

He had a number of Oxycodones and Ativans stolen by those little bastards.

but it gets hit with the trap first right? And you cant always have a kill shot like head or heart you must miss? trust me iv killed a good few animals (always vermin or for food and sometimes a mercy kill) drowning is very quick they stop moving a few seconds after aspirating water.

True story my when my dad was alive, and in bad shape he kept bitching about pills missing. He would put them on his desk where he watched TV and was pissed about his Oxycodones and Ativans would disappear. He laid them on the desk next to his recliner.

I told him I have my own and I don't steal, he goes, " I know, I closed the door and didn't leave and you weren't even here."

One day My dad says open your hand and I did. It was a 2mg Ativan ( lorazepam). I said thanks; he said " No, look at it", and there were little teeth marks on it.

He had a number of Oxycodones and Ativans stolen by those little bastards.
