Kids; I rember when Jimmy Carter was president, and Double Speak is not in there. I was wrong but:
It is a way to confuse or obscure language and they are right; However it is derived from two Orwellian concepts from 1984 Double Think and New Speak
Those two concepts were used to come up with Double Speak, which is a term based on Orwell's writings.

It is derived from 1984, but has been, besides me, wrongly credited to Orwell; because it combines two of his concepts and is often confused as directly coming from him. Yes I was wrong.

Double Speak: a way to confuse or obscure language and Politicians love using it.

Your right but Double Speak is derived from Double Think and New Speak. He is credit for laying the foundation of that term. Even if he didn't say it. It has been over 30 years since I read it. My copy is 64 years old. I am not even close to the first to mistakenly think it was Orwell. It wasn't but based on his writings.

Even though the book is full of double speak, it is not used, but based on it.😔

Alright, in my Thread Wonderings I saw something about the 1914 Tax Act. Here is a little more Info:

The Harrison Narcotics Tax Act of 1914 was a federal law that taxed and regulated the production, distribution, and importation of coca products and opiates. It was the first recorded instance of the U.S. banning the domestic distribution of drugs.

Who proposed the act?

Representative Francis Burton Harrison of New York proposed the act.
It was approved on December 17, 1914.

What did the act do?

The act required the registration of those who produced, imported, manufactured, compounded, dealt in, dispensed, sold, distributed, or gave away opium or coca leaves.
The act also imposed a special tax on those who produced, imported, manufactured, compounded, dealt in, dispensed, sold, distributed, or gave away opium or coca leaves.

What did the act prohibit?

The act prohibited prescribing maintenance doses for narcotics unless it was intended to cure the patient's addiction.

Caffeine didn't make it but it was considered or proposed.

I wanna try the original, original Coke. Real sugar and cocaine. I wonder how much actual cocaine was was in one of those little bottles of the original energy drink( besides coffee, smart ass). That would be great for short term energy.

Also Dr. Poppy. It is a mixture of a bunch of opiods and real cane sugar. Your not sure which opiods are in it ; likely because they use at least 16 different ones, so the soda pop has a high you can't really describe. Also a very popular diet version.

I would ban, Fenta: all varieties, even the hard to find cherry. All that sugar as people would keep drinking more and more would be bad, but at some point they would drink so much it would cause them to internally drown. Or add the right amount of salts to make it safer, even then I would create it and ban it. Also it's competitor Frescenta a grapefruit flavored diet drink with Fentanyl.

Mr.Pot: THC and a lot of other cannibinoids.

I was watching a food show once. In France, Absinth is illegal, but people Openly Order It At Some Places to put in their drinks . The show did not go into detail on what Absinth is.

The sad part is even if a black comedian wrote something like that it would never happen because the cry baby left wants to control our speech our thoughts. Psychological Projection is a defense mechanism where someone unconsciously attributes their own feelings or traits to another person. It can also happen consciously.

The Character Pixie was Mad At The World.

The Character Pixie, other than her Intelligence & Anger, was a Typical Middle Class Teenager with More of an Identity Crisis than Most.

The Character Pixie said in so many words that "Yoko Ono Can Never Make Love, Yoko Ono Can Only Be Continually Raped".
