would it be better for me to just live with anxiety?.. it's been there my whole life. it's a real thing. the pot makes it go away, and i don't really need to smoke that much of it.. some people are anti-pot, but they've never been in the shoes of some one that needs a drug. everyone's brain chemistry causes they to feel differently... drugs are here. if we weren't supposed to have drugs, i don't think evolution would've put psychedelic mushrooms randomly over like every continent. there are so many strains of wild psychedelic shrooms all over the world. there's no way to really stop them if they are illegal. they are the easiest thing to smuggle and start growing.

yeah... huh... i think this site is generally in favor of legalizing all drugs.

might cause some other problems with society not really being equal in terms of what people get paid to do different jobs... so there's kind of a lot of problems with what's going on all through out the world because of that and other things which is a pretty complex topic and not really basic drug discussion, which i think this thread is still in.. but yeah.

if there were no drugs, that would stop a lot of people from caring to work... maybe it'd be better so people with family's that wanted to progress in society with out drugs can really run everything and thrive... some people really only maintain their jobs to keep their drug habbits. that's what their life is all about, and they do a fine job... idk. i'm sure some people would like to give certain jobs to non drug users. the druggies are just going to support illegal trade.... but honestly when people support illegal drugs, it all eventually turns into some one needing to go to the grocery store and buying whatever like they normally would.. the money doesn't just disapear when it gets in the hands of someone doing illegal stuff. that's probably why the government doesn't really care.... plus they can experiment with seeing who will take stuff like fentanyl with drugs being illegal.. i really don't think fentanyl would be as popular if people had the choices of other drugs... drugs being illegal might just be that way because more people die with them being illegal. population control even if that's not the real reason why it was set up the way things are. maybe people that are willing to jepordize their lives and take random street drugs aren't wanted in society... i don't really know what would happen if all drugs were legalized.

some people just like alcohol and don't care that it kills them.. they can get around in society and drink while they slowly rot... idk... why would you care if they are lowering their life expectancy? it just creates more room for people that want to live.

with all the alcohol people drink, think about how much land that is taking up that people can't build property or roads on.. the more shit we have like that, in case there is an emergency with food shortage some day, they can just use all the land for alcohol to grow food... they also use a ton of land to grow all the stuff to create medicinal drugs.. most of those drugs are very over prescribed.. someday they are just gonna use all that land to grow food or for more housing... people will eventually use less of all sorts of drugs... if some one needs anti-depressants every day or like a serving of psychedelic mushrooms every few months, and they are both curing depression, which one is better for the whole of the world, obviously the one that is using less land to grow what it takes to make the drug... just some stuff people don't think about..

what's going on now with drugs could just be a temporary thing.

What is going on right now is that there are ethanol users who refuse to accept the fact that they are drug addicts. These drug addicts are using force to stop other drug addicts from using drugs.
How can a drug addict claim authority over another drug addict or a person? How can a drug addict use force to maintain access to their drug? Either all drugs are legal or all drugs are illegal. Any else is discrimination.

I was joking about all the sensitive data. But what is your point? Yes excessive alcohol use is bad, believe me I know that all too well. I drink wine. I have a medical marijuana card. I would do shrooms if I could find them. What I am saying is that somehow ethanol drug addicts are using drugs and using force to stop other drug addicts from using drugs. Drug-free people have to put up with the nonsense that ethanol, nicotine & caffeine cause. Nicotine is a pesticide. Wikipedia says Caffeine is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant of the methylxanthine class and is the most commonly consumed psychoactive substance globally. Make up our minds already. Are we all going to be drug addicts or are we all going to be drug-free?

i don't think we are going to be a drug free society with how popular psychedelics are becoming and with marijuana becoming legalized...

part of me thinks that no drugs should be legal, and only people showing signs of artistic potential should get to use drugs in controlled environments... but really, people have great life changing experiences with drugs and they aren't artists, so who's to say who is supposed to be doing what. i think there is just some sense to letting jimmy hendrix play on acid at woodstock, or even let a band like korn just use meth for the hell of it. in a lot of cases, the musicians get sick of certain drugs, but it still effects their art. like neil young played on coke for a while, and it kind of switched up his style. seems cool to me.. some people really get nothing out of coke..i'd like to ask neil young if he feels like drugs helped change his style or if it was just a waste of time... personally i find art/music/and drugs to be really spiritual to me... i think i might be getting something out of it that normal people might not get... however on the end of that, i know that's not true of all people. some people are really better off after using drugs that aren't artists.

i truely believe there is great art and music that wouldn't've been made with out drugs... art and music is what life is about to me.. there are some other things to experience, but art and music are pretty much the greatest thing... people can enjoy this that aren't the creators too.. maybe someone in the future listening to jimmy hendrix play at woodstock sent their vibes back in time to his trip to make him play.. like fans prey for the art... i believe psychedelics or even art with out drugs or psychedelics can be spiritual, however some people find their spiritual path with drugs.

drugs are for anybody that wants to try them... they can let people realize all the emotions they are capable of... some one could even have a life changing experience with alcohol. not a very good drug for the most part, but it could bring out something special in some one. could also bring out badness... like mdma is supposedly a very therapuetic drug, i could very well see people saying "oh have a life changing experience with alcohol in a night of drinking with your friends," and it has the same lasting effect on ptsd as mdma.. maybe anyways... never under estimate the power of the sober mind too.

i don't know what you mean... some people say his wood stock performance wasn't the best, but it was at least a challenging interesting experience. i haven't seen the whole thing... i thought he died from barbituates... i think if it were today with the rep of that drug, he might've just stayed clear of them... i really don't know.. i think with the better quality of pot now days, it might be a better time being a rock star...i would've thought hendrix smoked high quality pot though, but who knows with what high times looked like back then.

santana never used lsd after woodstock or whatever performance it was where he used it when he was younger supposedly but he said he tried shrooms and other drugs and found them to be motivational and interesting to play with is what i got out of the interviews i saw with him on you tube talking about it later on. i swear using psychedelics actually lets me tune certain stuff with instruments that my brain wouldn't normally be able to hear. maybe that's just like an ego problem where i want to do better when using drugs though. who knows.

No they don't. The population as whole doesn't have any real agenda about stopping drinking. I believe some country tried abolishing alcohol. lol

The 19th amendment is partially to blame. Women get the right to vote and then came Prohibition. But it did help a lot of broke Italian, Jewish, and Irish immigrant men become rich and powerful. Yep prohibition was a failure. Organized crime became a part of America because of it.

Your points are beyond foolish. Look at how they go after opiods and have never really given any controversial drugs a chance.

The weed thing was stupid to begin with and eventually things changed. But The idea of an alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, and even weed and throw in hard drugs and the majority of Americans don't want what you claim they do.

Everyone should try to stay as Healthy as possible. Just because there is a poison berry bush doesn't mean that you should eat them !!

If there is no need to overindulge there won't be such a demand for things that are not in fact healthy and the best choice.

At this point the best that can be done for the human condition is to ween .... as much as possible and whenever possible.

All that everyone should focus their goals towards is eating from the healthy food pyramid and drinking water and milk.

That's it. And that will be a difficult enough existence so why try to even make it worse.

Sometimes less can be more and less will be better. And then keep on going from there.

All I mean to say is to stop all of this overindulgence and just maybe things can get better. 🌻

I don't drink alcohol but it absolutely can be toxic and poison and there are much better solutions than alcohol as one.

I don't want to get on too much of a rant right now .... but overindulgence it seems never makes anything ... anything

ever better at all.

Don't try to drink and function ... and actually you should try not to even drink at all. The End.

Ethanol is as dangerous as other drugs. Denial is a symptom of drug addiction. Ethanol fits the description of a schedule 2 controlled substance and ethanol drug addicts say that this law does not apply to ethanol. What about the 21st amendment, Mr Constitutional scholar. Wow your up early for school, let me guess middle school or a freshman. You see the 21st amendment got rid of the 18th amendment.

No it doesn't because unlike schedule 1 drugs, ethanol is a very well needed substance and I ain't even talking about drinks.

Maybe, depending on the state, mine 15 y.o. to drive and most 16y.o. but New Jersey and Manhattan 17y.o. and 18 y.o. respectively. When you have to fill a car you will see a sticker that says10% of the gas is ethanol that US drivers put in our cars is ethanol in America( not sure about diesel)

Oh that's right you, said New Jersey. I hate the fact that those family type beaches look as bland and boring as the Beach in Jaws. Amity Island New York a fictional place. But the beaches there seemed to have brown water also, few small waves and worst of all family friendly.

I nearly died crossing a vehicle only bridge. Ocean City was a meeting place of sorts many years ago for an almost full family reunion. Also Jaws ruined my childhood vacations and some idiot made a lot of towns in New Jersey dry, but that is changing.

Fluoride is a drug and it is in our drinking water 🚰. Unless you drink only bottled water.

I nearly died because of that stupid dry island provision. Not sure it still is, though. No alcohol sold. But it can be bought over on the other side of the bridge, in both directions; a bar with carryout and a booze super market.

I like the search engine Duckduckgo, and type in 15 uses for ethanol.&≈

But it is interesting to see you still in character and not a hint of a personality or any charisma.

Your point, that you are failing to make is ridiculous and won't ever happen; The Prohibition 2.0.

A lot of people have been killed for losing drugs. Drug dealers robbed and can't pay their supplier. Drug raid at a stash house and an angry supplier who wants his drugs, or what he would have been paid for his drugs. If not you may die unless you are a better shot than him.

I saw a video where an elephant put down some sort of food with his trunk and it was a trap because the elephant was waiting to squish some ducks which followed the trail around a corner. The caretakers at the zoo got him a hobby; painting.

Elephants are herbivores.

Some animals just like killing, like indoor/ outdoor cats. They love to kill little birds, mice ect.. for fun.

Plenty of dogs will kill a cat out of hate.

i have seen hateful humans, but never a hateful non-human animal.
dogs have a very efficient way of communicating with each other and are very capable of figuring things out between them, and many other animals under the right circumstances.

The illegal drug addict amendment is moot. Does our Constitution say "We The illegal drug addicts"? Does our Constitution say "We The People"? How can illegal drug addicts wave a magic wand and say ethanol is legal? Only People can Pass a Constitutional Amendment. People are drug-free. Drug addicts use drugs. The 18th Amendment was created to stop ethanol drug addicts from using drugs. How does the illegal drug addict amendment change the physical properties of the drug ethanol? Ethanol drug addicts are simply making excuses and ignoring our 18th Amendment. Our 18th Amendment started the War Against Drugs. How can illegal drug addicts end the War Against Drugs? The only way to win the War Against Drugs is to remove the illegal drug ethanol from America. I am saying nothing. Some individuals over 18 years of age act like children, some act like adults. By what metric are you confirming everyone involved in drug classification legislation is dependent on ethanol 🤔 I can't tell if this is purposefully obtuse or a really specific psychosis obsession. Alcohol and caffeine consumption predates the concept of drugs by 1000s of years.

ethanol is the main purpose of it all but then there are other alcohols, hop compounds, etc. etc. in alcoholic drinks.

interesting enough sometimes also 2m2b that is also produced and distributed separately as relatively pure compound, it is really long-chained alcohol. It wrecks you for 24 hours in big enough doses.
