I like to listen to Spanish music because I know about 5 words of Spanish, so the vocals sound like an instrument.

Love the beat and was able to pick out around 10 words only in the song. Most of them were the curse words and horse.

Its totally unsuited for adolescent s, their own words.

I do seriously want to thank you for the model railroad thread your, My Own Little World. My grandfather, my father, and I to a limited extent loved model railroads.
Unfortunately most of my track and freight cars got thrown away by accident and all the antique engines and cars along with almost everything else got thrown away. Not to mention my grandfather's basement layout got pitched. He built it with my dad in the sixties.

I love trains and model rail roads. It kills me to have had all those now antique cars, locomotives and the buildings and towns and all the cool older stuff throw out. I can't rebuild a layout like the one in my grandfather's basement. Those old freight cars and antique watertowers and all those cool old accessories are gone. Track can be replaced but freight cars made by companies that don't exist and old school type accessories are not replaceable. I will never have a model railroad layout. I have the money, time and desire but certain things can't be replaced.😟 I would have had all I needed for a cool vintage layout. I even have a nice much better power supply from the early 80's somewhere which is much nicer than the cheap looking new ones.

I'm glad you enjoy the series. The 60's was when I started my first real modeling. I ran Lionel previous to that.

Sorry about your loss. I can relate. When I was a kid, my Mother gave away all of my Fathers trains he had when he was a kid.

Also had a neighbor up the block with a nice permanent layout.

More than one Christmas, we had a train set up under our tree.

My dad always wanted a good layout but we had one problem.
Neither of is us is artistic. Painting and even creating mountains with wire and I forget the material and air brushing them and other things was an issue. Also all those great old box cars with Borax and all sorts of old names on them. Not to mention all the Antique engines that could be used in a vintage rail yard. The houses business and such. Also landscape painting was an issue.
Bridge building, I guess you can by kits. But I and my dad wanted a good older looking but not run down
look and boxcars and other freight cars of today aren't going to have the same realism as buildings and cars 50-60 years old. Even stuff I had in the 80's would look better.
I have an MRC power supply from the early eighties with 3 colored light to indicate green go yellow caution I think and red to stop.
Never stuff seems cheaper and just not right. I can't believe they were thrown away. Worse my grand father had O Gauge Lionel Trains,
From the 1930's that got pitched.
Although HO is the only gauge I ever liked.

20×60 is huge my dad and grandfather's was 8x 24 and they newer finished an expansion. But I want all that 60's stuff but nope thrown out.🥹

The good news is that 60's stuff is very common and one can find them on eBay for $5-10 still new in the box, especially the Athearn Blue Box era equipment. Tyco and other manufacturers are out there used and about the same price. Just do yourelf a favor and get nickel steel track instead of brass if you want to run them. The brass oxides way too quickly and dirty track means bad operation.

If you actually lived closer to Chicago I'd meet up with ya and toss you some cars, I might even still have one or two engines that I haven't converted to DCC (Digital) control. They are available under $20.00 on eBay if one is persistent and catch a deal.

Is that why the basement layout in my grandparents house looked good but getting it to run was a problem? It was track I bet, I thought there were issues with the locomotives. They were 60's but were modern for the era. They looked sleek, I guess but were too feature less but would be perfect for a rail yard.. But I liked the Bachman engines from the later 80's and early 90's that had the railings and accessories you had to put on. I like slightly older stuff in regards to model railroads. Because I don't like trains that look too new. That isn't realistic. Real freight cars are not shiny and new, usually.
I like them to appear wore a little and rugged, the older box cars were used a lot and looked more realistic to real freight cars. Then their is an issue with a caboose? The End of Train Devices are they on modern model trains or are cabooses still used on HO gauge modern freight model trains?

Actually cabooses are still used on some local freight trains as needed as "push" or "transfer platforms" IRL to this day. I'll try and catch some video examples and post them in my railroad video thread.

And one can model any time and place they want, or even toss that concept out the windows and run whatever they want; there are no rules!

Have you ever been to the model train place in Strasburg Pa.? Model train exhibits/ museum near Lancaster Pa. It is in Amish Country. I forget the name but I have been there at least twice. It has been decades since I have been there but I think it still exists, hold on it is called Choo Choo barn. Lots of layouts and was really cool for model railroad enthusiasts. I imagine it is even better than when I last went their in the late 80's or early 90's

There is also a real old train nicely restored. An authentic steam engine train in Stasburg also. I forget how long a ride but on a nice day with the windows open it is great. Unless the Amish are using their liquefied manure fertilizer on their fields. It is a smell that I suppose the locals get use to. But other than that. It was always great to ride The train and then go to The model train exhibits or Choo Choo Barn.

Yes I had them!!!!!!!! I drank them with caffeine and without. I was mad when they took them off the market with caffeine because I didn't pass out as easily after chugging a bunch of them.
14% ones were great 23 or 24 ounces it was the alcohol equivalent of a six pack of regular non-ice 🍺 domestic beer for $2.59 + 6%tax and 10 cents deposit( I live in Michigan and 10 cents was worth a lot more back in 1976 when they started it, then today🤣)
