while my mom kept asking me when i was finally going to fall in love since i was like 14.
and when i brought home the one boy who was interesting enough to make me spend a weekend with him, she didn't like him.

Idk how to be anyone else I am unashamedly whatever I feel in the moment.

By birth I am Catholic but I didn't do communion so I am a bad Catholic. I also have never been to confession so I'd have 32 years worth of confessing to catch up on. After 4 hours even the most patient priest is just gonna refer me to a psychiatric unit

Man kids have got way more creative with their BS. My school had a kid who claimed he had rich family as was a world renowned hacker. Another school nearby had a kid who claimed he got hit by a plane on his way home. Another had a girl who pretended to have cancer but that was cos she got caught out stuffing her bra which is kinda different.

Got kids out here faking whole ass disorders that's above and beyond.

Just finishing up a few loose end tasks for this work sprint, studying for a new AI certification, and trying to put some skyrockets in flight while the wife has this Valentine's Day off and the kids are still at school (so far unsuccessful but my last attempt was pretty close so I might be able to break through the defenses in the next 10 minutes otherwise I'll just have to wait until bed time I guess). That about sums it up.

The whole fake disorder/trauma thing skeeves me out. I know there's more than ever in the younger generation but it happened in my age group here and there too. Why fetishize it? Like I know I'm sexy af but that's in spite of the trauma and whatever the fuck disorder makes me the way I am not because of it.

They get made fun of because it's obviously fake. The one kid I knew with an actual diagnosis of turrets who didn't talk about 247 like it was his entire life didn't get made fun of. He was actually quite popular among the theater crowd.

Really cos speaking as someone who's constantly being told he has ADHD I can assure you, absolutely fucking nothing about my existence makes the slightest bit of sense.

Idk where I even stand on the adhd thing is it real is it just a personality type or do people just feel the fuckin need to slap a label on everyone

ADHD is definitely real. Shit fucks with my life like hell. Might be the combo with the autism that makes it worse tho. Like two conflicting brains fighting each other all the time.

I'm a perfect world yeah. It would be just a different way of thinking compared to neurotypicals and all would be dandy. Unfortunately alot of thing in this society work against Neurodivergent people. Hopefully someday this will change and people will have more wiggle room to be themselves

Oh yes there are definitely perks. I know alot of random bullshit and have a lot of random skills due to hyper fixations. Just a double edged sword because if I'm in a state of hyper fixation I quite literally can't focus on anything else.

The idea that people can't be themselves is hogwash imo. Plenty of trailblazers are able to successfully navigate present day society without corrupting their "self" to fit in. I'm not one of those people but they are out there.

In day to day shit ofc, but there are certain things that I have to hide. For example I have to watch my tone like a hawk. Can't talk in public like I usually would naturally cause people assume I'm angry. Or having to be very particular about my expressions because I over express and people think I'm nuts. That sort of stuff. All autism related stuff, and often we have to mask these things to make others more comfortable.

Once I discovered that you can get paid to smash buildings up and it's called being a demolition labourer I was fucking away. I used to tell my boss "I have the best job in the world I used to have to run from cops if I wanted to do this now you pay me for the privilege". The company I worked for fuckin sucked tho so I ended up leaving.

Now I do groundworks and civil engineering, most of what I do is for a water company so I'm outside all day, I get to drive a lot which I fuckin love doing, I get wet constantly which gives me something legit to complain about (along with the bad back digging inevitably provides you) and I get to do the plumbing which I find really interesting because it's an actual useful skill to know. Plus I work with mostly a bunch of fucking nutters who don't freak out if I occasionally show up to work shitfaced Monday through Tuesday lunch time or threaten to wrap a shovel around someone and bury them under a service.

Demo was more fun but this pays wayyyyyyyyy better so I'm still winning.

It's all perspective. If most people hear me and my work mate they'd think we hate each other. "Oi watch where you're pointing that you prick" "that's it take ya fucking glasses off so I can whack you" "i swear if you do that again I'm gonna jump in my van and run you over on my way to the pub" but that's just how we get the stress out and we both think it's hilarious. I regularly speak to my boss the same way and he just sort of takes it because I'm a solid worker, sometimes he even gives it back which is a nice surprise.

If people don't get it then cool, keep walking. I don't entertain anyone who takes exception to the way I talk cos chances are I'd dislike some of their character traits. I refuse to make myself uncomfortable to make someone else comfortable outside of exceptional circumstances (like keeping my arse out of jail).

As for stimming I sometimes like to screech like a pterodactyl in public, I'm sure people hate it but who the fuck is gonna challenge the guy wielding a shovel screaming like a banshee threatening to commit vehicular homicide over a bit of water on his (waterproof) boots? Not many people are that brave in my experience. I also gurn a fair amount ever since a sertraline prescription years back.

People do occasionally make comments about me being this or that or the other and I'm just like cool but can you do this, and proceed to do my best Terry the dactyl impression.

Don't let people who wouldn't recognise a good time if it bit them tell you what's normal. Make them fear your lack of social skills and maybe they'll just avoid you in future

Nah there's a running joke between me and a few mates about how I'm the only local metalhead who's never been to download or hellfest. But the reason I don't go is literally every cunt here who listens to metal goes.

Just finishing up a few loose end tasks for this work sprint, studying for a new AI certification, and trying to put some skyrockets in flight while the wife has this Valentine's Day off and the kids are still at school (so far unsuccessful but my last attempt was pretty close so I might be able to break through the defenses in the next 10 minutes otherwise I'll just have to wait until bed time I guess). That about sums it up.
I all I know is that I tried and successfully got around or almost 6 hours of sleep. Which is more than I have had in a while. I had a lot of important business today besides trying to get out of jury duty with a doctor's note.

I had last week taken out a mail box of one of my neighbors when the roads appeared nicer.( black ice and a big redneck mobile caused me to slide)
Now there is too much snow and and I just looked at my street and knew my car is going to get stuck on a snow plateau. And I will be stuck digging it out
and then there is the all the geniuses with their cars parked on the side of the
street making it a obstacle course with too much snow and Ice underneath.
All I know is have gotten over 8 hours of sleep in the last 24 hours which for me
Is quite an accomplishment. Lol (Sad but true) oh well there is next week.

It's not a trick question at all. The egg came first. Fish evolved to reptiles, reptiles lay eggs on land. Reptile evolves over a long period of time and now we have birds. Birds lay eggs cause they evolved from reptiles

My point is how do you get the diversity to begin with? How do you get two entities with two different parts with a bunch of single cells evolving over here and a different bunch evolving over there. They will go down different paths. How did we get here? All I can say logically is not evolution, all we can do is speculate.

And evolution is not a mutation. It's actually just certain traits causing individuals in a species to be more likely to breed and continue that trait. For example giraffes have long necks because the short ones die of starvation. The taller ones can eat from the branches, then they breed and over time this creates a common trait displayed across the entire species

Motown is an American record label owned by the Universal Music Group.
